Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the third entry in the franchise and takes part as a prequel to the original Deus Ex. To save his life, Adam Jensen, a former SWAT officer must fill his body with augmentations. Humanity has battled any threat to it and now live in a cyberpunk world of future. When a new form of augmentations must be revealed, Sarif Industries is attacked by the group called the Tyrants. When Adam tries to save the facility, group leader Namir heavily wounds Jensen and kills Megan Reed.
